Installation Instructions

1. Set Up

• Locate the rear differential housing.

• Position the skid plate beneath the differential, aligning it so that the mounting holes correspond with the appropriate locations on the axle.

 2. Attach U-Bolts

• Wrap each U-bolt around the axle housing, ensuring they are placed over the rubber sleeves to prevent metal-to-metal contact.

• Insert the threaded ends of the U-bolts through the corresponding holes in the skid plate.

3. Secure the Skid Plate

• Place a lock washer and nut onto each threaded end of the U-bolts.

• Hand-tighten all nuts to hold the skid plate in place.

 4. Final Tightening

• Using a torque wrench, tighten each nut to the manufacturer's recommended torque specification, ensuring the skid plate is securely fastened without over-tightening.

5. Final Inspection

• Verify that the skid plate is centered and does not interfere with any moving parts.

• Ensure all nuts are properly torqued and that the skid plate is stable.
